The Irish showed up to play for the first time in over a month as they dismantled Rick Pitino’s Louisville squad. The 33-point loss is the worst for Louisville under Pitino. Notre Dame had not won a game since January 10th and desperately needed a win to help their chances of getting into the NCAA Tournament. Last night, they got a marquee win for their resume and one that may get the ball rolling for a relatively easy stretch in their schedule which features upcoming games with USF, WVU, Providence and Rutgers.
