WEEK 2 PREDICTIONS

MY PICKS

Last week I went 1-2 in my 3 games of the week. However I did correct pick East Carolina to beat Virginia Tech for my upset of the week. So, for the season I am 2-2. Here are this weeks picks.

Remember these games are straight up, but since these games aren't expected to be real competitive I'm going to put with the spread as well.

Oklahoma BEATS Cincinnati, but does NOT cover the 21.5
Florida BEATS Miami but does NOT cover the 21.5
Penn State BEATS Oregon State and covers the 16.5

UPSET OF THE WEEK:
I am again half tempted to pick my Panthers to go down to another MAC conference team, but I will again pass, although there is a high possibility of it happening. Instead I will go with another MAC team beating a Big East team. I like:

TEMPLE over UCONN

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND ENJOY ALL THE FOOTBALL!!

MAYBE THE GREATEST THING EVER!

2 KU Stars Shine Bright Again!!!

Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur were kicked out of the NBA Rookie Orientation when they got caught with women and marijuana.

These two guys go to a class/camp so the NBA can sit you down and tell you what you should look out for and what not to do and I would think the top 2 things on that list are 1) drugs and 2) shady women. What do they do? They find 2 shady pieces of ass take them up to their room and start smoking up with them. Nice job guys!

TROUBLE TRACKER UPDATE

THIS DIDN'T TAKE LONG

Penn State is on the board! Now, these players will probably NOT be suspended due to JoePa being so easy on his players and only caring about winning, but it does get noted on the TROUBLE TRACKER.

From what I understand these geniuses had a noise complaint at their apartment due to loud music. When police arrived they smelled marijuana, but didn't have a search warrant. They left the apartment and came back later with the search warrant and the players STILL had the marijuana. HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE?!

One of the players whose apartment this happened at was Andrew Quarless who got a DUI in March and was suspended from the team during spring drills.

HERE IS AN UP TO THE MINUTE STANDINGS:
The "U" - 7
Penn State - 4
Indiana - 4
Tennessee - 2
Michigan - 1
Mississippi State - 1

BIG XII PREVIEW

BIG XII

You got my predictions last week, so now on to the important things.

BEST PLACE TO SEE A GAME:
Kyle Field at Texas A&M, Home of the 12th Man.
This stadium actually shakes when the fans sway backs and forth during the Aggie War Hymn. Also, the A&M band is by far the best band I have ever seen.

HOTTEST FANS:
Texas
Texas Tech
Nebraska

MOST SCANDALS:
Surprisingly, the BIG XII has kept its nose clean fairly recently, if football at least. This is a toss up, but I think I will go with Texas Tech. Any school that hires Bob Knight and rises in football as fast as they have out of Lubbock, TX gets me wondering.

WHERE'S WALT?!

OC Matt Cavanaugh Leads an Offensive Offensive Display

It truly pains me to write this because I have been so supportive of Matt Cavanaugh since he has taken over as Offensive Coordinator at Pitt, but it doesn't come close to the disappointment I felt this past Saturday afternoon watching his offense on the field. This is an offense that has play makers everywhere you look, yet Cavanaugh can't find any of them. This is an offense that has former Heisman candidate (no longer after losing to Bowling Green) Shady McCoy and all you can think to do is pound him up the middle and never let him get to the outside. This is an offense that has more depth at WR now then maybe ever in the programs history and the biggest pass Pitt gets goes for 17 yards. I just have one question, WHERE IS WALT HARRIS!?!?

I am 100% serious. Walt couldn't coach a defense or over see an entire team if his life depended on it, but he sure could run an offense. Imagine what Walt would do with this talent. A WR with Antonio Bryant speed and Larry Fitzgerald size in freshman Jonathan Baldwin would win the Biletnikoff 4 straight years with Walt calling the plays; he didn't have 1 catch on Saturday. And people (me included) have been blaming the young and inexperienced O-line? This line looks like All-Pros compared to the lines Walt scraped together. Hell, he put ads out in the Pitt News looking for linemen.

Walt was last seen at the Fox Chapel-Highlands high school football game on Friday Night. Someone (read Steve Pederson) please go and get this man back on the sidelines, quickly!!
