TROUBLE TRACKER

Michigan becomes our first repeat offender on the TROUBLE TRACKER.

Now many who know me realize I think a crime against a hockey player is only a crime if he is still able to play. If you commit a crime and in doing so, prevent the growth of hockey in America you should be praised, not arrested. Unfortunately those in Michigan see things differently. I guess they try to protect the players from their winning teams. Mike Milano, a 5'7" 190 pound walk-on, apparently put a whooping on a defenseman from the UM hockey team around 2:25 Sunday morning. Well at least Michigan football beat someone this weekend! Rich Rod said that he would not comment while the investigation was ongoing. Read that to say, "I'm the same guy that recruited Chris Henry and Pac-Man Jones to WVU, do you think I care about the character issues of my players?"

Staying in the Big Ten, Illinois back-up QB Eddie McGee was arrested after knocking a female to the floor during a dance floor fight at a homecoming dance. No word yet on whether he will be suspended, but if Ron Zook keeps with the tradition of most Big Ten coaches he will send a message and suspend McGee multiple games since he is a back-up and wouldn't be playing in those games anyway.

Let's take a look at the standings so far this season:
THE "U" - 7
The State Penn - 4
Indiana - 4
Tennessee - 2
Michigan - 2
Mississippi State - 1
