Attention nation. We fans of Ohio State sincerely apologize
for taking spots in the last two championship games, screwing the country out of
competitive games they so rightly deserve. The rest of the country is and has
been correct in our overrated-ness. We are sorry for our insistence that "this
game will be different," and sorry for our snobbishness. On behalf of Buckeye
Nation, we are pleased to announce that we have no such plans to ruin any more
nationally televised games.Sincerely,Ohio State University (In an addition to
our apology, we are going to remove the "THE" from "The Ohio State University")

Hey Mike, well said, but NO. We won't quit calling you THE Ohio State University, you are the dumb asses that came up with it, and we had to deal with your arrogant asses saying it for the last few years. Now we get to say it as long as we want making fun of your over-rated program.
* Okay, okay, we know Ed Hochuli missed a call. He has admitted it. He admitted it during the game. He feels terrible about it. So can everyone just shut up about it now?! Hey Chargers fans, don't blame the ref for completely falling apart in the last minute of 2 straight games. How about blaming your team! Last time I checked Hochuli didn't rule an incomplete pass AND 8 eights to the Broncos. You team had 2 plays AND a 2-point conversion to stop the Broncos, and you couldn't. Hey, try not to give up 31 1st half point. Try to not let 1 player, Brandon Marshall (playing in his 1st game of the year) catch 18 passes for 166. how bad is your defense that no only did the Broncos know they could score on you and decided to go for 2 and the win, THEY RAN THE EXACT SAME PLAY THEY JUST SCORED THEIR TOUCHDOWN ON, and it work AGAIN!!!
* Carlos Zambrano threw a no-hitter on Sunday, congratulations to him. Unfortunately Major League Baseball screwed this game up before he threw a pitch though. The Astros winners of 7 straight and 14 of 15 games got completely hosed by the suits of MLB. The Astros, making a late season run at a wild card get the first place Cubs coming into their stadium for a 3 game series. Well Hurricane Ike was coming to Houston for the weekend too unfortunately. Major League baseball postpones 2 games and moves the series to Milwaukee. Milwaukee?? Really?? Milwaukee, the Milwaukee that is 92 miles from Chicago? And this is supposed to be a home game for the Astros? What about a city in Texas? How about Arlington, TX? The home of the Rangers. The Rangers were on the west coast why not play there? I can understand the scare of rain, they got hit bad last weekend, a total of .52 inches. Good thing MLB didn't make a logical move and just play the games there.
* West Virginia, you think they still hate Rich Rod?? Yeah, that was NOT an impulse hire of Bill Stewart he is a great coach! So great I bet you are thrill that he just signed a 6 year extension after bumping his career record to 2-0. Nice move!
Okay on to my predictions for this week. I went 2-2 with my picks and I once again would have covered with my upset of the week, however it did not win out right. For the season I am 9-4. Let's get started with this week:
Ok, I know that I have nothing to prove this with, but I liked Colorado last night and that was a game I was supposed to pick, so 1-0 for me this week!
Now on to the SEC where all the big games happen this week:
Alabama BEATS Arkansas on the road
Georgia BEATS Arizona State on the road, but it is VERY close!
Florida BEATS Tennessee on the road by at least 2 touchdowns
Auburn BEATS LSU in what might go down as the best game of the year. This will be like a blackjack game, first team to 17 holds and wins!
UPSET PICK OF THE WEEK:
I really don't see anything that jumps out, so I am going with Wake Forest to win on the road at Florida State.
ENJOY YOUR FOOTBALL THIS WEEKEND!!!!!
